Take Notes:&nbsp;<\/strong>Create a chart of interest to build up your incentives.<br><strong>3.<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Invest:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Spend time with the individual to develop a level of interest.&nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>4.&nbsp;Provide:&nbsp;<\/strong>Give opportunities for the individual to enjoy the activity of choice.<br><strong>5.&nbsp;Promote:&nbsp;<\/strong>Appropriate and positive behavior for the environment (role play, model, positive affirmations, etc.)<br><strong>6. Set Limits:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Develop boundaries for utilizing the activity of choice.<br><strong>7: Routine:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Remain consistent and predictable&nbsp;<br><strong>8.&nbsp; REPEAT AS NEEDED<\/strong><br><br>We all have different motivators; internal and external (nouns) that drive us for enjoyment. Our population is no different my suggestions; allow your individual to explore within a safe environment, ask and answer questions for clarity, promote positive interactions and room to grow (academically, socially and emotionally), develop a routine (First this\/ then that) stay consistent, repeat and adjust as needed.
